Namaste everyone, my name is Borja Poveda and I would like to introduce both myself, and my utopian project PROART PROJECTS to you, in order to find any possible working relationship. By presenting my resume, I could work for you or your company, and a description of the project, in case you were interested in supporting or collaborating with it in any way.
A Teacher of English as a Foreign Language from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, who had previously cleared up to third course of Mathematical Science at Universiadad Complutense de Madrid.
Co-founder, producer, designer, and “anything else you could think of”, of PROART PROJECTS ( Handmade Aid Projects). An idea, run and developed only by two people, which started raising funds, and collecting items of basic need in Spain, to personally hand them to the most needed in South India, especially children and elder people, back in 2008. Since then, that original project is not just still active, it has also evolved in other different projects.
Along with the primary Aid Project, the PROART Education Project should also be highlighted. After some time learning, living and sharing experiences with the kids from those rural and remote areas, their amazing values, incredible excitement, their happinnes despite their unfortunate situation, the respect they show towards their education and everyone involved in it… all these lessons about life were brought back to Spain to be presented to both children and adults. Photography exhibitions, talks and presentations at schools and high schools, activities connecting the students from Spain with those from India, etc. The main and ideal goal of this project is creating an educational platform to connect students from different parts of the world to offer them the chance of learning from each other no matter their differences. Other projects of PROART are Language Courses, Photography, Activities for Tourists, and others.
While studying in university and later on also acquired great experience in different fields: as a hospital assistant, working mostly with elder people; as a cook, working in different restaurants and catering companies since the age of eighteen as a cook or assistant cook.
Borja Poveda
